I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons since the release of 5th edition in 2014 and have been a Dungeon Master since 2016. My friends and I began by playing online through Discord, but eventually I moved to in-person games after meeting my husband. When not playing D&D or working at the Viridian Bookshop, I love playing micro tabletop roleplaying games, sewing outfits based on my D&D characters, and reading.

How I run my games:
Typically, I prefer running pre-made modules from both official game manufacturers and actual play podcasts like Critical Role and Legends of Avantris. In my games I like to reward players for interesting strategy or good character moments, so I usually follow the rule of cool.

Hello, I'm Jake! I dove headfirst into Dungeons & Dragons in 2023 and quickly discovered that my true passion was behind the GM screen, crafting stories and adventures. My philosophy is simple: we’re here for fun first, with the "rule of cool" as our guide. About:
Matt Young has been playing D&D for 41 years and started playing in the 1980s when he discovered his uncle's 1st edition AD&D players handbook on the coffee table. Matt embraces being a nerd and loves playing D&D because of the opportunity for collaborative storytelling with a wonderful community of D&D nerds. Matt is the forever DM with his home group, but does find time to be a player once in a while. He can frequently be found with his wife and life partner Anita (also a D&D nerd), his adult daughter Becca (when home from college) and their cat Bellatrix. I'd like to start with teaching the New Starter set one night a week (not Tuesday or Thursday). After the holidays, Candlekeep Mysteries (5E). This is designed as a series of 17 single sessions. But I have some cool ideas of how we can expand it into a broader campaign.
Long term, I'd love to shepherd a party or parties from green adventurers to world-shaping Immortals in the World of Mystara (D&D Basic).

Bryn has been playing TTRPGs since 2016. She started playing in order to make friends, but her intentions quickly changed when she realized what powerful tools games provided for self-discovery. In less than a year, she started running (and writing) her own stories and has GM’ed games for groups of teenagers and adults. I have been playing since 2013-2014ish and DMing since 2014. In that time I've explored many genres, taught my friends how to play DnD, and have even created an entire personal ttrpg system with my friends for a long form campaign based around my favorite game series of all time (Persona) that lasted 6.5 years. One of my favorite things is being pushed out of my comfort zone and seeing creative solutions to problems I present as a DM. Every world I have DMed I've crafted from the ground up. I have never run a module.

How I run my games:
The more creative the better. I have worlds and scenarios to move through but the more of what you as players want to explore or input that I can put in the better. Because of this, I enjoy doing role play over combat. Expect less little combats and more thematic scraps at my table.
