Join Jonathan Boyd for a welcoming, beginner-friendly introduction to Commander — the popular multiplayer format of Magic: The Gathering. Whether you’re brand new or just brushing up on the rules, you’ll get clear instruction, guided gameplay, and plenty of time to ask questions.

What to Expect

• Small-group learning (2–4 players per table)

• Step-by-step explanation of Commander basics

• Help understanding deck structure and gameplay flow

• Support with triggers, combat, and common mechanics

You’ll learn how Commander decks work (100 cards, singleton format, 40 life), how the command zone functions, and how multiplayer strategy adds a whole new dimension to the game.
