For weeks, fishermen have vanished along the cliffs, and strange lights have been spotted dancing through the evening fog — ghostly lanterns that lure travelers toward the edge. Locals whisper of the Lantern Men, spirits of drowned sailors said to drag the living into the sea. The Eastcliffe Adventurers Guild has posted a bounty for anyone willing to investigate the disappearances and put an end to the haunting.

The heroes arrive in Eastcliffe during one of its infamous storms, greeted by an uneasy town wrapped in superstition. Their investigation takes them from the cliffs above the crashing waves to the flooded tunnels below the city. But not all is as it seems — the Lantern Men may not be spirits at all, and something ancient stirs beneath the surf.
