Intro to Kinusaiga with Michelle Lutz

July 8 @ 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM EDT | $50

Intro to Kinusaiga

Explore the peaceful and creative art of Kinusaiga, a Japanese craft that uses small pieces of fabric to create beautiful picture-like designs. Instead of sewing, you’ll gently press the fabric into a soft board to “paint” with textiles. This relaxing, no-sew activity is perfect for anyone who enjoys working with color, pattern, and texture. No experience needed—all materials provided to make a 6 x 6 inch work of art.

About the Teacher:

Michelle Lutz is a textile collage artist inspired by nature, creating layered textile art through embroidery, weaving, beading, and fabric sculpture. Her workshops and classes encourage mindful, expressive art-making through mixed textile techniques.
